Gate Of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover New Jersey was established in 1937 to meet the needs of Catholic families in the Morris, Essex and other surrounding counties in the area. The magnificent cemetery honors Mary, the virgin mother of Jesus, and roots its mission in Mary’s experience of cradling the broken body of her crucified Son.

It’s an image that mirror as what our Catholic faith strives to emulate through the Catholic cemetery tradition. The our Lady of the Rosary Chapel Mausoleum features above ground entombment crypts, cremation niches and private family rooms. Cemetery plots, garden mausoleum spaces, columbariums, and private family states are also available.
