LOTS FOR PRIVATE FAMILY ESTATES ~  Mausoleums or Sarcophaguses

Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Newark recognizes the importance of providing families the option to have a final resting place together while memorializing their family name. Our Private Family Estate Lots accommodate a family’s desire to maintain a perpetual family bond among multiple generations.  These lots vary in size and offer families a range of choices, including traditional and cremation burial within the same plot.

Families can create their own memorialization with a private Mausoleum or Sarcophagus. These custom solid granite structures offer a unique opportunity of creative expression and design and can include a walk-in chapel, stained glass windows, and/or an Altar.  An estate lot on the cemetery grounds is required for placement of these private structures; therefore the location should be selected before the design of the estate begins. Depending on size, estate lots also may accommodate a small garden area, benches, sculptures or a combination of these.
