The ministry of Catholic Cemeteries exists to meet the needs of individuals and families before, at the time of death and burial, and throughout bereavement. We have been serving families in the archdiocese for over 160 years.

With beautiful and sacred locations in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Morris, and Union counties in New Jersey, you’ll find a Catholic cemetery close to your home or parish. You may already have heritage in one of our 11 locations. Three of our sites are global award-winning cemeteries including Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum in North Arlington, Saint Gertrude Cemetery and Mausoleum in Colonia, and Maryrest Cemetery and Mausoleum in Mahwah.

Most of our cemeteries and mausoleums offer magnificent marble crypts, glass cremation niches, traditional burial plots, and more. Many locations feature world-class liturgical art including marble and wooden statues, stained glass windows, and breathtaking chapel mausoleums for committal services to help give your loved ones the memorialization they deserve.
