Our full-time cemetery Chaplains are available to assist you at Holy Cross, Gate of Heaven, and Saint Gertrude cemeteries with the following needs:
- Direct you to where you can arrange graveside or mausoleum services for the committal of your loved ones’ body or cremated remains.
- Accompany families and funeral directors needing clergy on the day of a funeral upon request.
- Schedule memorial prayers and grave blessings, especially around the first anniversary of death or burial.
- Offer bereavement and spiritual support for families and visitors.
- Provide Sacramental support, including Confession, Anointing of the Sick, and other Sacraments upon request.
- Answer questions you may have about Church teaching regarding funerals and burial.
- Supply free resources such as Continuing the Journey booklets and Carenotes.
- Offer prayers daily for those who rest in our Catholic Cemeteries.
