CONTEST RULES: Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Newark invites its Cemetery Staff to submit original photography taken in public areas of its cemetery locations for the 2023 Employee Photo Contest.

The photo contest begins Monday, September 25, 2023, and ends Thursday, November 16, 2023, (EXTENDED) at 11:59 pm EST.

When you submit your photos, please include a brief description, cemetery location, date taken, your name, department, and phone number.  A maximum of three (3) photo submissions per staff member is permitted for the contest. 

Avoid watermarks or imprints that identify your photo in order to facilitate anonymous judging. The excessive use of any image editing software to alter images is not permitted. EMAIL YOUR PHOTOS HERE.

To be eligible for entry, a photo must have been shot by the entrant during the 2023 calendar year. Please DO NOT submit photos with people. 

Any contest photo must be of an appropriate nature and should represent Catholic Cemeteries, the Archdiocese, and its properties in a respectful manner. Photographers retain the rights to photos.

However, by entering the contest, you grant Catholic Cemeteries license to publicly display, distribute, reproduce and/or create derivative works of the entries for Catholic Cemeteries purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising, promotion, exhibition, and commercial products. Reproduced photos will include a photographer credit as feasible.
